CLASS 1 A
The opportunity to compare the educational systems, the organization of the different schools involved.
It's not a common experience
We may know the differents subjects dealt in other European schools.
Teachers may compare methods and organizations.
This experience is important also for our town Gravina: its traditions, history and culture may be knowk abroad
We may be inspired by the new friends and "copy"  their lifestile, if better then ours. And also our lifestile could be shared in Europe.

CLASS 2 A

The most shared answers are the following ones:

Students could know more topics and  use and speak foreign languages.

Students can have more friends  and teachers can share opinions about other cultures

Collaboration with other nations can be useful to improve the knowledge of other traditions

Students and teachers can have the possibility to travel abroad

Students and teachers could become more united and play and learn together

CLASS 3 A

This project is important for me and for the school because …

- it helps to create relationships with other countries, teachers can exchange their opinion about the different educational system and ways of teaching;

- it gives us the opportunity to have a new experience and to open our mind to new cultural   horizons;

- between teachers and students a strong feeling born;

- Teachers can learn  new different subjects …and our school and our town can be Known abroad;

- the international meeting is a moment to stay together and visit the territory, exchange opinions;

- it underlines the European dimension…because we are European citizens;

- there is the cooperation with European schools;

- we can know better Europe and our own country;

Why do you think it may be important for you?

Because I can really get in touch  with teenagers that are not Italian

Because I could see my town and environment from a different point of view

Because  I could really and  practically understand  the importance of being  a member of a  bigger community

Because I can exchange experiences and have a comparison with different points of view 

Because I can become more respectful about a culture that is different from mine

And for the school?

Because our teachers can compare teaching  techniques with the ones of  their foreign colleagues

Because  they can cooperate with teachers of different countries

Because Comenius enhances the students’ interest about foreign langauages

Because it betters the  language skills

Because it emphazises the importance of interdisciplinary work

Why do you think it may be important for you?

Because I can practically understand how fundamental is speaking English

Because I can exchange ideas , opinions , experiences with friends that are not my classmates

Because I think it is an useful experience for my future

Because it can help me to realize the importance of being an European citizen

And for the school?

Because teachers can exchange ideas and impressions about teaching methods 

Because it is an occasion to be known abroad

It may be important because it let us have experiences of cooperation with other coun tries.

CLASS 2 C

For our students it is important because it’s a good way to make new experiences of relationship with foreign people and it would help students to learn how to interact with them. It is an opportunity to discover cultures that are different from ours. It is important for our school because it could be a good advertisement of how we relate with schools of other nations and how we use the study of foreign languages at school and at work

I think it's very important for me because it allows to keep in contact with people all around Europe, to know new things, different cultures, stories, languages.... it helps to know some  aspects of myself and it is useful for my training. From a survey done in class IIC regarding students’ expectations about Comenius project we can say that for the first question they answered in a positive way. They would like to know new cultures and they would like to socialize with children of other countries to discover their way of life. They would also like to use their knowledge of foreign languages (English or French) to communicate so they could practise what they learn at school.

Of comenius project I expect lots of things: seeing and knowing foreign people, with their stories, languages... I expect that this project will help me when I will be adult because  it will encrease my knowledge and my couriosity. (Valeria Loizzo)
